Jesus is alive, every day forever. He lives. Even if there is nothing else in this life you can be sure of, you can be sure of that. This is my hope. All of the eggs are going in that basket. Our world is quickly shifting and that being said, it can be difficult to find and hold our footing. We need a firm foundation. Jesus is the man for the job, the Rock of Ages, the image of the invisible God, and He is no weakling, I can assure you, not even close. And yet, there are still difficult days to walk through. We've walked through some of them already. This is reality. Life is no cake walk. There is no supernatural pause for tough circumstances. Challenging days that make you dig deep come and what do you do with them? Remember that God is who He says He is and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Our eyes need to go up and off of ourselves and we need to shift them by choice. This is not a feeling thing. You simply cannot just fall into this state of mind. It is a choice every single day of the week. Every single moment. There is so much strength from God to be found there. You will gain your second wind the second a declaration of that truth comes out of your mouth. The second it escapes your lips your body responds to it as by design, your lungs expand and somehow in that moment you regain some internal fortitude that had felt lost. You feel more centred. You start to move forward once again. You realize that you were made to overcome like a warrior. Like a warrior! Some moments are so paralyzing and they feel that they will absolutely do you in, but in those moments pull on the truth and the fact of Jesus to give you strength. And you'll have to do that over and over again. This is a battle. Not a one and you’re done. It’s a wrestling match not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. We are ones who are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; ones who are perplexed but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. It's because of these truths that we can overcome this temporary embattlement because Jesus has already won the day. He went ahead of us and laid down His life for us, not so that we could falter forever but to overcome, gain ground and move forward in victory. He pioneered that and He never fails, even if others are failing us, even if the world is failing us, even if we are failing ourselves. We are victorious in Him. Under the blood is under the blood, so shift your thinking to align with this truth. It truly makes all the difference. You were meant to be here for such a time as this, it is no mistake, and through Christ, we can do all things. Jesus is the hope for the masses. He is our lighthouse in the raging storm and nothing and no one will ever take Him out.
And I feel like God is saying this today, “Keep your eyes on Me.”
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; the shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Romans 10:9-10
Keep stretching your hands out to God dear hearts. Pour your heart out like a waterfall to Him. The road has surely been rough, but we are mighty in Him. Praise you Jesus. You did it all.
