Studio Series 2026 - The Notes

I’m starting a new project that will last the entire year of 2026. I’ll be working on 6 canvases throughout that time. Each canvas has a limited time frame, and when that’s up, it’s done and I will be moving onto the next one. I'll only post the finished work when it's done and not before without any process updates. I want to grow as an artist and I think this kind of sequestered time is the way to do it. I will be creating new work in the context of isolation to find my voice as a painter. It will be everything and anything I feel to do. Some of it will be awkward. Actually I’m hoping it will be. When we do something without apology there is such potential for growth. So it’s actually the awkwardness that I’m counting on to get the work past the likes into what it is meant to be.
