Sheltered

This home on the land is being sheltered by these enormous flowers that are reaching over it to cover it. This home and all the people in it are being protected from the snow that is starting to fall. This storm is out of season. It's not time for it. It comes by surprise. It still felt like summer. And yet, no one in that house is dismayed. They know that the cistern beneath their house will never run dry and everything they own will be safe. Their home is still solid. Their hearts are steadfast.
